Resolved New live rock came with some extras. What are these?

    So on the top is a slug looking thing that has what looks like spider webs hanging from it to the rock. I don't know what it is.

    Then there is a white area in the rock which is probably more common which looks like white slime in a little pocket of rock.

    What are these?

    i am just guessing here... Pic are a bit blurry

    1st pic = Nasarius snail..??

    2cond pic = stomatella snail..??

    3rd = sponge of some sort..

    Keep in mind all are just guess goin by the silloette

    Bad pics dude, number 3 is defo a sponge, and it looks like chicken liver sponge we have in the Keys.

    I would try taking some new pics. On your digital camera there should be a button with what looks like a little flower on it - this is the "macro" button, and helps with taking close-up shots. Push that button and then zoom in on what you want to photograph. It should turn out clearer.

    ok I took a few more photos. It is hard to get a clean picture of him with the camera's software zoom @ 11x.

    Like I said, it's like he has spider webbing/silk coming from him onto the rock.

    Looking at pics of vermetid snail I think you are dead on!
