new light

    so my light was not working i guess and my toadstool started to get ill.i put inthe new light today but am wondering if he will make it out of this.. all the coral reactedto the new light, my water is tested perfect

    A bit more information and a picture would be helpful

    how long had the light not been working? if it where a few days then that wont be a problem IMO but a photo so we can see what shape its in now would be helpful

    what sort of new lighting have you got , how much different is it to what you had before?

    its not anything new, its just it haddent been doing so well and i assumed it was the bulbs on my bio cube 14 had long expired since i havent changed them out before or anything

    how long have you had the toadstool?

    they do shed skin every few weeks , during this time they close up, shrivel/shrink in size and then 3 - 5 days later ( in mines case) the old top layer of skin peels off and drifts away and then they start to open again
