new cycle?

    just a quick question, in the attempt to track & catch the crab i had in my tank, i was moving around rocks and took them out rinsed them with water.. and was wondering what tests should i do to see if i started a cycle in my tank?

    Ammonia first. Then if you get a "reading" for ammonia, test for nitrite and nitrate.

    Test for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. If you are worried, test daily for about 3-4 days. If no sign of spikes of any of these parameters over that time, don't worry about it. If any of them do spike, you know you are in the midst of a cycle.

    thanx, how long after me removing around the rocks should i test for ammonia?
