i recently pick up a new beautiful crocea clam and im wondering how long does it normally take to attatch itself to the rock and how many times do they open wide in a givin day? i have not seen it open wide yet but its only been in for two day so i am thinking it may take a bit.

    thanks
    eric

1110ppm is a little low, should be around 1350-1500. If your using the B-Ionic 2 part system, thats only for Cal and Alk, that doesnt do anything for Mag. All three are different elements. Just remember to test for whatever your dosing. I once overdosed on B-Ionic and almost killed many of my corals by having a very high Alk. Luna
