    I bought myself some birthday presents a week early to take advantage of the Reef Empire $25 unlimited items shipping. I picked up the following new additions:

    Zoa Colony
    Frogspawn
    Purple Palythoas
    Blue Palythoas
    Acropora Tenuis Colony

    I was planning on the following placements.

    Frogspawn :: Sand bottom, left
    Zoas/Palys :: Mid-level to lower LR
    Acropora :: Mid to High on LR

    I have read mixed on Acro's about aggressiveness, etc. I was planning on keeping it somewhat separate from my other corals.

    Any addtional advice or special tips on these appreciated.

    Links worked for me, they may require log in or something. I edited and deleted the link.

    Question remains though, thoughts on placement and care tips???

    Thanks

    Your positioning sounds good. As for the Zoos/Palys, They probably will need to go lower on your rock work towards the bottom, Mine hate being up in the bright lighting. Frogspawn definately on the sandbed... As for care... I dont do much for my zoos and frogspawn, occasionally I will feed my my frogpsawn some mysis or brine but thats about it.

    Acros I wish I could speek on behalf, but I kill them all :( I plan on trying in my little tank because I have to many LPS in my 120g, tends to get into the chemical warefare between the two.

    I have a 10 gal small DT slaved to the main system. Maybe I should put the Acro in there? The are no corals currently in there. The Acro is the one that concerns me.

    Just put it up high where it will get good light and strong flow. Keep your calcium and alkalinity up and make sure your magnesium is at about 1300. That will help keep your Ca and alk up.

    BTW --- if these aren't already attached to rock when they arrive... netting and rubber band for zoa and palys. Frogspawn, just put in the sand. Acro gel super glue to rock....

    Right???

    I would lodge the frogspawn into your rockwork. If the flesh of the coral rubs against the sand, it will become irritated and not do well.
