today i got a pink birdsnest but it looks more maroon, and also got yellow (scroll, cup) coral, they were mad cheap at 21$ each and they are pretty large.

    got 2 questions

do i need to start these corals at the bottom, and acclimate them slowly to my t5 lights or since they are more light demanding can i put them in there spot.
the birdsnest is going on top and the scroll in the middle.

also i found a pistol or mantis shrimp hiding in the branches of my birdsnest, i droped it into my fuge untill i could find out what to do with it, can i leave it in there or will it destroy my pod population?

hopefully its not a mantis shrimp : / i dont think i pistol shrimp would destroy the pod pop., but i would wait for someone else to chime in before you do anything.

we need pics of the shrimp, as for the corals if they came from pretty intense lighting you should be ok. Your pink bn is maroon colored because either it hasn't had enough light to make it pink, or it is coming from a phosphate filled tank. One of those 2 most likely.
