    just spent $200 on a whole 3 corals.

    still temp acclimating, then i have to scrub the montipora because it has some algae that the lfs said i need to get off of it

    but i got one coral i dont know the name of, a torch and red montipora

    How much was the monti? and how big is it?

    The unknown one is an acropora. Put on the top of your aquascape. The monti can be put down a little lower if you wish.

    Give the monti lots of room to grow, it grows fast and will be quite large.

    i think it was $53 i think and i think size this is just a guestimation maybe 4 in length by 3 wide? just a guess though

    ohhh sweet! i was hoping to get a acros! i love them and i got one and didnt even know it :lol: and sweet thanks ill take better pics once im done placing, im glad i dont have to light acclimate cause everything was under MH andi have T5 so its lower light so i should be good to go once i place

    ok i think ill put the acro and the monti on the same rock, but ill place the monti on the edge so its kind of hanging ove and the acro on the middle of the rock or maybe right next to the birdsnest

    Yep you should have no problems on light acclimation, but watch closely just in case the MH was on it's last legs.

    thanks it was a hard decision i went to two lfs' one had a lot of corals but nothing i really liked and prices were expensive, these two were expensive but i liked them and the torch i got from another lfs it was only $20

    sweet going to go scrub the monthi right now it has red stringy algae that the lfs guy said is a PITA to get rid of

    To rich for my blood. I just bought a red monti frag, about 1” long, and about 1 ½” wide, for $10.
