I have to say that I don't know!
One of the people who has one to test the skimmer performance has said that the pump is very quiet and he hasn't had any problem with it.
That is all I can tell you about them.

so no ones run these pumps in another other application for long durations? im looking for longevity of life. I can find reviews on most of the other pumps used. I am having a hard time finding reviews on ATMAN. Im very interested in the SWC from a quality / design perspective, but im lacking information on the pump itself.

Atmans are used in Bubble Magus. They are an inexpensive pump. Don't know how much for replacement. They have been used for a while in other skimmers. I was told SWC decided to use them on these because price is the most important factor these days for customers. Hence a small cone for ~$200 with a Atman pump. So far those that have used them are happy with their performance.
