Got a new acro frag today. It's pretty small and fairly plain but, it's cool. It's already got some very nice polyp extension. Wish I would have waited like 5 more minutes before taking the pics. The polyps are extended much better now. Also picked up 2 peppermint shrimp to help out with a tiny bit of aiptasia I found while tearing into my tank yesterday. If I get a chance to take a pic of them I will(good luck). Also picked up some aiptasia x. I even used it to close up a vermetid. So far, it seems to be working on it.

Yea well, it's actually closed right now. It may be getting too much light compared to the LFS. I'm going to move it tomorrow if it's still being a PITA. I've got the "worried with new purchase" syndrome right now kinda.

I think this may have been the quickest kill on my record. It's closed and appears to be bleaching. I'm guessing it has to do with me being an idiot and supplementing just after it had acclimated and settled in. Any suggestions? The change in light intensity was a thought at first. I can still see retracted polyps. As I was dosing and messing with the tank I was doing some reading on the acro. I came across a few places that basically say they are sensitive to changes.

Move it down to the sand bed until it recovers. Even if it turns completely white don't toss it unless the polyps aren't there.

You might also dip it in case it is sickly...
