    ;D

K+ for that one and your patience.

I have three boys, I'm imagining that you ask a lot of questions, and maybe your dad told you to go ask the people on the internet, but that's cool. You seem to be attracted to the more aggressive species, but you have to realize that you just don't have the size tank that you would need. There's no way a Peacock bass would make it through a winter in Canada.

Do heater work in ponds ? In the winter ? The pond never gets frozen cause of all the pumps and current

If so how many 450watt heaters would I need to keep the fish ? The pond two part with a river running trow my moms garden and the waters pumped back to the first pond. It's around 500g I gusse and 3 feet deep in the ponds and 1.5 feet deep in the river

Right now it's full of dirt and has no minows or anything in it but next year it will be up again

Why do you want a Peacock Bass. You know they aren't really bass, right?

Just get a tank-less water heater for your pond.

Here is what you really want:

Just an FYI, peacock bass are not actually naturally occuring in South Florida. They were introduced by DNR to eat oscars, midas cichlids, and spotted tilapia.

p.s. if the sunfish can fit in the peacock bass' mouth, it is food.
