Needle mesh impellers?

    On the Gen2 pumps I received due to the originals not having a venturi, one of the impellers is off balance and will only start out of water. I was curious whether the impellers are needle now or if they still use the needle mesh kind. Not sure if I remembered the terminology right.

    What impeller do I need..... It's quite annoying to wait so long for a simple response. I've just about decided to get a new skimmer. It seems impossible to get any parts at all for these things. Do new impellers have shafts?
