Please send your good thoughts my way for my reef..My main pump died today! :( I have power heads doing the work of surface agitation for the time being. But I have a LOT of oxygen sucking tangs... I had to order a new one from 123Ponds (only ones that could get it to me tomorrow!) So hopefully everything does well the remainder of the day and however long it will take to get the new one in and installed tomorrow!

Good luck, run some extra pumps in the DT and aim all of the pumps at surface. Air bubblers would be a good option also.

Besides spend a crap load of money to get the pump to me tomorrow? lol

Well I pointed one of my JBJ 1400 powerheads toward the surface...and I also moved my Koralia Magnum 8 to about 1/2" below water surface...it is REALLY aggitating the surface and about every 20-30seconds is creates a tornadic suction and blows microbubbles (for about 5 seconds)...at first i was like..hmm thats not good...but then i was like..nah i'm gonna leave it, just oxygenates more...I ripped the heart out tonight and have it prepared to go straight in when it arrives (thank god for previously installed union connectors)....I cannot stress enough for anyone reading this...UNION CONNECT BOTH SIDES OF YOUR INLINE PUMPS! :)

Here's a thought, corals, like plants put off oxygen when the lights are on, can you leave the lights on tonight so your O2 lvl doesn't drop in the dark?

good luck! I had this same thing happen to me about a month ago, I was definitely stressing out. Sounds like you've got things as under control as you can though. Good thoughts, good thoughts!
