My wife wants something blue in the tank. I have mushrooms, duncan, zoas, paly's, GSP, a Leather and a Hammer coral. Has you can see, I have mostly softies and a LPS . I would prefer to stay away from SPS as I don't really want to dose and target feed. I need something easy to maintain since my wife will be taking care of my tank while I am gone for a year.

Well if it MUST be LPS, why not blue acans?

Mushrooms or a Sympodium are decent choices.

It doesn't have to be LPS actually. Just something that she will be able to maintain with minimal attention is all. She will have our 4 kids to take care of as well.

I will look into the acans, do you have any in mind?

Thanks, I mentioned the blue mushrooms, but she thinks they look to identical to the purple ones I have. Is there a big difference in the coloring? I had mentioned ricordea's to her as well.

Will Blue Sympodium Polyp (Sympodium sp.) overrun a tank like GSP can? I really like the look of the ones I have linked.

I would try those. Maybe make an island for them to contain them.
