    i have little hairs on a few of my rocks and i dont know what it is. it looks like little brown hairs. kinda looks like 5 oclock shadow on my rocks.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Could be anything from cyanobacter to dinoflagellates to a bad case of diatoms. Point is really need an image to rule one or the other out. :)

    i cant get a pic the hairs are to small. theyre less then a 1/4 inch long.
