    looking to upgrade frome the lights that came with tank wanting to move in to coral what type of lights are good for this t5 highput or florsent or meatitle haloide what brands Are good and what setup will be compatable with 55 galon acquarimum 21 inches deep any hel appreatchiated

    im a huge fan of T5's :) i grow coral under 8 T5s on a tank 30" deep...aaaaand my wallet loves the break on electric they give :)

    A good 4X54W T5HO will let you keep whatever animal will properly fit in your tank.

    i would do t5's or halides, leds i dont really trust i have had several bad experiences with them. t5's and halides both have pro's and con's its just a matter of opinion is all it comes down to.if you have enough t5's they can be as bright as 400 watt halides
