    i was about to purchase a w/d for my 55g but now i heard that its just an air pump creating bubbles and its not a needlewheel technology...can someone please help and just point me in the right directions before my tank gets worse? :(:(:(:(

    Are you are not talking about a Protein Skimmer and not a Wet/Dry filter?
