Short and simple.... my zoo's aren't doing so got so i went to my LFS to ask what to to help them out. Tested the water everything is good. He said only other thing would be placement and pests he also suggested a fresh water dip for 30-60 min with iodine. I don't have the iodine but I plan to dip the zoo's and move them up how long should I dip them? He said 30-60 min, but everything else I read said 5-10. Some advice or suggestions would be appreciated greatly. Thanks!

He might have meant seconds. DO NOT dip them for and longer than 3-5 min.

you will likely kill them if you keep it there that long.

when i do my iodine i do them with salt water though:confused: and i do it for like 10mins max ( read the directions on the iodine dip and just go accordingly).

He Definatly said thirty minutes to an hour and yes they are melting away. Lfs said if they have been closed for that long then no food or light they will melt away

If they're melting, you can try Furan2. Look halfway down the page.

    Furan 2 dip

What kind of lighting are they under? Where in the tank are they? What kind of flow? What are your parameters?
