    I'm in northern Michigan however my dad's family came from deep isolated mountains in Kentucky so redneck skills run in the blood.

    Thanks, I'm now thinking of going with the T6 and a 400w MH, I'll dIY the hood and add some fans in. The tank is in the family room of the basement so it'll be easy to just hang it from the floor joists.

    T6 setup should be here tomorrow. I'm gonna set that up with some fans and an old comp power supply and get that running. Then about a month from now i'll get the MH and make a hood.
