Need Help Id'ing this

Hello everyone, It has been a long time since I posted on 3 reef since then I have moved to a new house and was able to get a tank set up again. I picked up a frag from my lfs they said it was a goni but I don't know.

 

Goniopora have 24 tentacles to each polyp head, Alveopora has 12. That may be the difference, I need a larger image to really see the coral though, it's an odd looking one. Almost looks like a Turbinaria peltata though.

 

I tried to get a better pic, its weird the stems leading up to the polyp are solid the only part that moves is the top.

 

Yea not a Goniopora, looks like a variation on Turbinaria peltata or could be a strange looking Galaxea.

 

Thanks Corailline, Been looking through coral pis haven't been able to find anything that resembles it except the ones you mentioned.
