need feedback from lr purchasers

i live in s. fla and it is amazing at how competetive stores in ohio or minnesota can be when selling lr!!!

I am curious as to several topics.........as i am ready to purchase approx 100 lbs of lr and am just more confused the more i look for a better deal.

1. Has anyone purchased lr from pet solutions???? (catalog/online)

2. Has anyone purchased lr from live rock usa in islamorada? (florida keys)

3. Has anyone purchased lr from tampa bay saltwater?

I prefer fiji, but price does factor in!!! What are your experiences with these distributors.....also, anywhere else here in s fla for high quality lr at a "warehouse" price? Thanks nk

 

Don't feel the need to purchase ALL live rock. It may cycle a little faster, but you may run run into several nuisance problems. You can save A LOT of money and problems by going with mainly base rock, and a little live rock. I started with about 150 lbs of base rock from Bulk Reef Supply at less than $3 a lb and only 10lbs of live rock. Its only been 3.5 months and the base rock is really starting to come to life!
