In my short stay here so far the most threads that get created (from what I've observed) are threads about aquascaping. I am currently redoing my tank because of a "fish gone rogue" and also was looking for ideas, and got tired of having to search different places for different ideas.

And then I stumbled on this...
    RockWork

This is exactly what I have been looking for for different ideas, and to see how different people make this happen.

Many thanks to the originator of this thread on that site, and I hope this helps out the fellow reefers here. Who knows, maybe we can make this an "end all" thread for "aquascaping ideas" and continue this guys trend with posting our own here, instead of making different threads about it!

This is an article about the basics but has great detail about how to set up a balanced scape

I think both of those look great!

I want to do something island-ish with my 120 but the dual overflows are such a pain

Thanks man! Yeah it's a trade off with the overflows, they are super essential but can get in the way sometimes. I got really lucky with my Cube's scape, I didn't plan it or anything it just came together when I transferred all my rock from my old tank.

Post some shots when you get a scape kickin def

They are actually made of acrylic - strong, but light-weight. Try Lowe's, HD, or your local glass shop.

Wow, they let thread go endless. haha

We have a few threads on here solely for aquascapes, but they seem to die off and then a new one gets started. I wonder if we could get one on here made as a sticky for the "General" section?

I have been looking for a thread like this for a long time. Thanks for starting it. Here are a few tanks I liked, none of these are mine.
