This stuff showed up a few weeks ago. The rock its on has been out of water before for over 40 mins when I got it, which it was part of that score I got like 3 or 4 months ago. Nothing has been added since I put those rocks in other then the powder brown tang I got last week.

    Here are the pics...

Eggs/pods from the movie "ALIEN"!!!! hahaha
    I have no idea...
not a tunicate or sponge if it has been out of the water for 40 minutes, I don't think!
Not a coral as it is squishy and hollow!
Stumped on this! Have to take some time to resaerch it further!

my first thought was sponge or tunicate, but they are hollow. Definetly some kind of filter feeder.

They are squishy to the touch and hollow. I popped one of them on accident, you can see it in the second pic at the top where its split open.

I think its some kind of tunicate, or Porifera? It does have a siphon/mouth, but they are hollow on the inside and squishy.
