    people who know me well, know Im a camera whore, I love taking pics of my corals and critters. I also do that so I can blow the pics up and really look at them without having to get them out and use a magnifying glass.

    Funny you should mention that. I didn't know that we had picked up red bugs until I blew up one of the pictures I had taken.

    Most things are super tiny, or very well camouflaged. You have to take pics of themm while in quarantine to really see things. You also need a really good camera so you can get quality pics so you can see things, lol.

    Another thing about red bugs, once you get them, check your LPS corals too, they are white on LPS corals. Thats a little known fact.

    Didn't know that. Great tip. We zapped the tank with Interceptor so we haven't had any problems with them since. :D

    gotta love heartworm medicine!

    The vets around here wouldnt sell it to me, nor would they come out to treat with it, so I had a buddy of mine who is a vet student hook me up ;D

    Luckily Ive never needed it that I know of, however its incorporated into my dipping procedure.
