need 90 gallon lighting recommendations!

    for under 400 you could get a 6 or 8 bulb tek fixture. with 8 you could keep anything you wanted to really. take a look.

    Keep in mind youll have to buy 8 bulbs at 20 bux a pop, cuz the ones they come with arent too great

    Definitely t5 than. I wouldn't go with the Odyssea units because their reflectors aren't very good.

    alright. so im unsure on the 90 now... i have found some amazing deals on craigslist that are complete setups with live rock and such for around $1000. one of the tanks ill be looking at was a build here on 3reef. so itll be exciting to see. ive found some others that im also considering that also include metal halides and good protein skimmers. each of these are 90 gals or more. what do you guys think i should do?

    Get the complete setups on craigslist or on here. My first tank was not that great of a deal, my second was okay. Now that I know craigslist, forums, ebay and other reefer friends the deals cannot be beat. If you can get a complete setup for under 1k get it. If you wait a little longer closer to Christmas you may get better deals.
