It looks like a "standard" green algae bloom! How old are your lights ?!

I have two big guys in there, but still have it. Will it go away eventually? you can see the bite marks they take on the glass.

Hello, yes, eventually it will run it's course. Add a phosphate reactor and run Pura Phoslock to avoid green hair and other nuisance algae in the future.

What unclejed said its a problem all newer tanks get about 8 to 12 weeks in and may last for a good long time , And 2 snails are a little low and because you have the giant turbos they are not all that great you need a good mixture of different species of snails to handle the entire job many will feed on alga's not touched by other types . I try to keep about 4 to 5 mixed species per gallon the first yrs or so.. algae will come and go for a yr or two as the system matures and settles in..

I have a 20 gallon tall and have now 5 turbos, 10 hermits, and im not sure how many nassarius snails. The tank is relatively new and the combination thus far has cleaned everything i need it to.
I heard that for every 10 gallons, you should have 5-6 turbo snails. That is, if you have enough algae to feed them.
I plan on buying more species of snails as well.

    Hope that helped.
