My tunze protein skimmer isn't producing any bubbles!!

    HHMMMMM!!!!!! i got a reefpack 505 from tunze, its a unit that has a 9011 skimmer and a mechanical filtration pump attached to it. set it up on my cycling 450 l tank. the skimmer produces NO bubbles whats so ever, been there for about a week now with no change......starting to get worried. PITA if i have to remove it from the tank as a lot of rock work is around it to try and hide it (no the inlet grills are not blocked water can free flow through the skimmer system) also i opened the blue valve all the way but nada....
