Kevin have you found any par readings on the fixture that you have? Or even from the vendor? I looked for a while and couldnt find any on this specific fixture. A local is gonna lend me a par meter if I cant find any soon.

Gambit you can PM BarbianJ. I am pretty sure he has the par numbers.

I would say it should be fine. The light is supposed to cover an area of 2' by 2'

Since new pc's are $80 or so, replacing them 1-2 times a year it seems like the tao tao would be a good value, even if it only lasts 2 years!

Thats my thoughts. I currently have it on my 20 gal about 12" off the water. So far all my corals love it.

I want to thank everyone for this post. I have been debating on these lights for about 3 months now. I just order them and can’t wait for their arrival. I will be replacing my current 360W PC set up that I have had good success with growing some Zoo’s and LPS I also have a couple of chalice corals. Dose any have any advice on acclimating my current coral to these lights?

Are those good PAR readings?... sorry, not really sure what numbers you are shooting for.
