    Very sweet Pics! I, too am interested in bird photography. I was using a film camera (the old Pentax K) but just received a Cannon Eos T2i for Christmas with just an 18-55mm lens. I have been researching telephoto lens and would be interested in any advice. As Vinny said, we have a lot of birds down here (I'm in South Florida) and some great state parks to go and bird at. Everything from raptors (Swallowtail Kites, Ospreys, Bald Eagles) to migrating birds. Thank you for the cool thread!

    Great pictures! When I popped in here earlier, the pictures didn't show for me but they came up when I tried again. A very good friend of ours is really into photography and one of his favorite subjects is birds. Nice work!

    Thank you. I have the 100-400L. It is the top of the affordable wildlife lenses. I would suggest it, the 400 5.6L even though that lens does not have IS or the 70-300L.
