these are just fascinating fish to watch. I have a 19g nano that is a blenny tank (have a horned blenny, bicolor blenny, barnacle blenny and high fin blenny) and a black headed jawfish. I have a large barnacle in there and everyone of them (including the jawfish) hangs out in the openings of the barnacles. Each has their own assigned opening and nobody better get near it.

However, my barnacle blenny has become my new favorite fish.......i will try to capture it on video one day but he is the fastest fish you ever will see. All he does is sit in his barnacle with his head hanging out. Come feeding time, he shoots out of there going 100 MPH grabs food and is back in hole before you can blink.

    Here is what they are...

Awesome! but how can you keep more then 1 blenny? I thought they would fight with their other species of blenny too.

Very cool fish IMO. One of my favorite blennies also. Get a video if you can! Thanks for sharing.

I love B. blennies, especially the Sea of Cortez ones.

This is easily the fastest fish I've ever seen in my life. I don't have a clue how one could video tape it without a real expensive high speed camera.

My favorite type of barnacle blenny is the Orange Tessellated Blenny although you really don't see them in the hobby all that often.
