    I Finally got my 1st clam ;D it is a small Blue Maxima 8) I have been wanting one for a long time and now that I have my new light here he is ;D I hope he will be happy as a clam :D ................ John

    well whats the lighting that you now have?ive been wondering about getting a clam for a while because boss has little one to two inch ones at work. the only thing is, do you need mh lighting? i have 96 watts on my 12 gallon

    I believe you can use PC"s or VHO's for water that is under 24" deep. But MH or HQI's are recommended for water that is more than 24" deep ............. John
