    Squamosas are low-light clams. They require less light than maximas, which will need quite a bit. A squamosa will do fine on the sand-bed. You could try a maxima(once you see the squamosa is doing well) if it is higher up in the tank

    i know a squamosas clam will do good, i was directing that towards a maxima which needs halides, or a larger t5 fixture.

    Yes the LPS will be fine. Judge how your corals, inverts and fish are doing by how they look. Changes in appearance will be the first sign of stress.

    no sps tho, i would upgrade two more bulbs before getting any
