My First DIY! (Stand + Canopy)

    Im so happy to show all of you my first DIY stand and canopy! It is definitely as rewarding as the pictures comments from everyone in the DIY forums lol, I still need to repaint it all the same white, but here is the newest addition to my room, my 75 gal tank with stand and canopy lol! Been working on it for two days now, the sides arent quite done, and the lid for the canopy isnt either! I cant wait to put water in and EVENTUALLY.. live stock! Let me know what ya'll think! :)

    I made a miss calculation, didnt account for the lid on top, (being the rookie i am :-/) so im redoing the canopy tmrw, so ill put pictures of how I do that tomorrow! Here is how I made it today though!

    looks really good are you going to DIY the sump too. i have a stand just like yours and it was a pain to get the sump to fit in, when there is a middle support board

    how much was the build cost you?

    it may be your first diy fish tank stand, but it looks like it's not the first thing you built out of wood, very nice!
