My cycle is going faaaast!

Lol I started my cycle with half dry half cured rock after you made this thread and its already done. Although I just did a major overhaul with my sump and probly screwed it all up

 

You beat me! What happend to the sump?

 

Well the main problem was that I used cheap plexiglass to make the dividers thinking it would hold up... Nahh lol that didn't work to well, they were bowing like crazy about to break loose from the silicone.. thennnn, I was changing the filter sock and I what I think happened was a piece of the shrimp I was using to cycle the tank broke loose and drifted up into the overflow and the made its way into the skimmer which rendered it useless.. so I was like f it, and drained the sump, ripped the plexiglass out and cleaned everything, had some glass panels made, then redesigned the sump to have a refugium. Also had to redo all the plumbing under the stand lol.. ugh ill make an update in the build thread I have with some pics but I did a lot of work and now everything is how I should have done it the first time...

MB7 day 2 dose is in. Tomorrow I'll dose again and then go to the LFS that night. Fingers are crossed!!!!

 

I think a pH drop may have stalled the cycle. I've been adjusting the powerheads randomly...that may have affected the pH. Ugh.

 

Nitrite is at .5!!!
