No it's not cycled yet. I'm waiting for nitrites to drop. This is day 14 I believe. I'm expecting it to be done in
4 or 5 days. And no I did not seed the rocks. Just a dead shrimp.

    Alright the lfs tested aaaannddd....:

    Ammo: 0.00
    Nitrite: .25
    Nitrate: 100+

So what I'm going to do is when my nitrites hit zero, I'll do a 25% pwc to get my nitrates down. I'll probably get my clowns on Thursday because that's when my parents credit card rolls over. I'm a happy boy!:)

Haha yeah, hopefully by the time my nitrites are 0 and I do a pwc they'll go down.

Ok so I'm kinda upset because my API test kits seems to be just a good as test strips. My results make no sense at all compared to the salfert.

    Ammonia: .1
    Nitrite: either 2 or 5
    Nitrate: 20
pH: off the charts low. The color is like yellow. It's probably around 7.0

Heres what the salfert tests say(I saw with my own eyes)

    Ammonia: 0
    Nitrite: .25
    Nitrate: 100+
    pH: not sure.

Tomorrow I'll be going to the LFS to have them test all four. I will definatly be getting some better test kits. Ugh.

Alright so my nitrites have been at 2 for the past week and a half so today we went to the LFS and got a pound of pukani live rock and a bottle of microbacter7. The title of this thread no longer makes sense. :p
