Well, here we go again. I've decided that food, clothing and warmth are overrated and cool fish tanks are better!

I'm calling it the Amish Coffee Corner because the stand is a customs made desk made by the Amish. They really do amazing work.

I bought this tank a few weeks ago with the stand.

It is set up to run peninsula. It's a lovely tank and I may not have bought the desk for it but I had already custom ordered it so no take backs I guess.

    They delivered this today.

I'm so glad I couldn't cancel. So now I have a spare stand I'm not sure what to do with and an amazing tank setup. I'll be running the piping into my garage so the only visible equipment will be the ghost overflow and the two vortechs at the overflow end.

It will be a few weeks before we make the move, but here we go again.

Merry Christmas all, and Merry Christmas to me!

I'm about to end up with a house full of their furniture. I can't believe I ever shopped elsewhere! Where is your store?

I'm out in Washington State, I own a small store called Amish Touch. It's best to buy their furniture locally. Any deal I would give you would soon be taken away with the shipping. I just thought it funny and had to make a comment. Love the desk. You can't go wrong with high quality furniture, it'll last life times!

There's an Amish store here in Portland, OR, as well. Yes, they do beautiful work!

Congrats on the stand, looks quite nice. Was it coated with anything to protect it from saltwater contact?

I have not had it protected. I'm still considering the possibility but the truth is I've been able to keep my woodwork clean and dry in the past so it may not be necessary.

Man, it's been a few days already. I can't believe there's no water and nice colonies in the tank yet!;)
