Here is my BioCube after almost 3 weeks of cycling. I now have a Clown fish, that was so imaginatively name "Harry" by my daughter.. lol we have a clean up crew containing 5 snails and 5 crabs at the moment. Here are some pictures so far. The quality is not that good. If anyone has suggestions on how to take good pictures with an iPhone i all for it. Thanks for all the help too guys. It is appreciated IMG_0487.JPG IMG_0488.JPG IMG_0489.JPG IMG_0490.JPG IMG_0488.JPG

There are gel filters for iPhones that go over the camera lense. Typically if you're running more blue/purple, you'll use an orangish/yellowish lense. I'm not sure where you can find them though, they were passed out at MAMAX last year (mid Atlantic marine aquaria expo...or something like that).

Other than that, I've found turning off flow really helps for photography, especially with LEDs.

Thanks for the advice. I will turn off the flow and snap a couple tomorrow. If the clown fish will sit still for a second or two. Lol

Lol. Clownfish are so difficult to photograph!

Tanks coming along well, exciting times. Are you planning on getting Harry a friend?

    Get an underwater camera:)

    What light did you get?

    Thanks Piano10,

I wound up getting the AI Prime light. I love it!!! Harry will have a friend hopefully by the end of next week. I would like to get either another Clown fish (black Ice) or a Hawkfish either flame or pixy/spotted. I have some eagle eye zoas, and the death pally. Also some GSP. Any other corals you can suggest? I like the brain corals too..

Nice work! Is that Coralline algae already growing on the back wall?

Congrats, and remember, not too many fish in a Biocube- helps keep the ecosystem in check.

Yeah I think it is. The tank had it on the back wall when i got it, but it was white. now its starting to turn a purple/blue color. I also have some purple stuff on the rocks
