So what is the best way to get rid of mushrooms. I dont want them all gone. Just want to get rid of the rogue ones that are straying from the pack.

Put them in a bucket and give them to a fellow reefer or give them to your LFS. Let nothing go to waste, they are all living creatures that'll give someone joy.

Well I would be happy to do that but how do I remove them from the rocks without killing them or leaving any behind which will just grow again?

Here is an old pic of my mushroom patch. It's about triple that amount now. ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21361679533.126996.jpg

Also, if you don't want them spreading, the best way is to place one dedicated rock on the sandbed away from all other solid structures. Removing them from the sand as they multiply is much easier.

Sweet looking tank. How do you get them to grow all over like that?

Well I don't really get them too. They will just keep slitting and working their way over till they split to another rock and on word they go.
