my mushrooms have been pretty much taking over my tank and now there is one that has attached itself to my clams shell, should I be concerned? The clam still opens daily and doesn't seem to mind the little hitchhiker.

I wouldn't worry unless the clam is bothered.

I would move the clam. Anybody who has kept mushrooms knows that they tend to become invasive and will win almost any turf battle. I can easily see the mushrooms not directly harming the clam but eventually overgrowing the clam and preventing the light from reaching it.

Thanks guys! Can't move the clam I would rather cut away some of the mushrooms if it became a light issue. Thanks again for the reassurance
