    How do I know if they coral is getting new growth? I hear that monti caps will turn cream or white colored where the new growth is starting and then turn color later, is that the same with monti digi?

    Yes new digi growth is white and will color up shortly after.

    Not always white. My purple rim apple cap monti has purple new growth.

    If almost the entire coral is white (or turning), then I would say it is bleached or it has rtn.

    If it is bleaching, it is getting too much light (not the brightness, but the intensity of light). Simply move it to a lower spot in the tank to see how it reacts.

    Before we get too worried, would you mind uploading a photo of the coral, so we can be sure what is wrong?
