My very large monti/acros arrangement has broke off my rock. The piece is literally teetering back and forth.

Now that is scary. I would turn the flow off and try to glue/epoxy the base again.

I never would've ever thought my coral would get so large and heavy it would break off under its own weight.

I kind of don't want to do anything but leave it be.

If you bought that pump after it was relatively large chances are it had a thinner base when establishing. I have seen a couple circumstances where the colony is relatively thin and less dense (really cannot tell unless you cut into it) when started under lighter flow, then when more flow is added the structure thickens and can catch more wave action as it has greater surface area.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I have coveted this piece for years. Guess nature is taking it's course, in this case I would call that a great success. Time for new scape and design.

This make sense. But Ive had this for a couple years with that same powerhead. You can see in my build showcase discussion on the last and latest page a comparison picture of before and after. With that said, the piece started off in my 55 and was moved to my 220.

As mentioned I dont think I am going to do anything but leave it be. If it were to break of completely and fall over, then and only then I will look to re-attach it.
