    Molting mantis! PICS NOW UP!

    K so my mantis hasn't been eating and i noticed he's molting. What do I do?!?!? He's laying on his side and looks like he's dying :(

    Get a video camera quick! Or, atleast get some stills.......

    I would wait and see if after his new shell comes in if he's okay.

    turn his lights off and leave him to his molt. they need dark and quiet hell do it on his own...how old is it ? my lil berts molting too. hes still a youngn though

    oh if you can sneak some snails in quietly you can stick umm on the glass to get some scrubbn time in :)

    I'm not sure how old he is. He's a good 3 or 4 inches in length

    im guessing its a peacock mantis ? if it is hes still probably pretty young he should pull through ok on him own

    That sounds like a great idea! I wish my fish would take a break long enough for me to put a quick clean up crew in the tank.

    i put about 35 snails in berts tank this molt as his tank is fairly new and theres a pretty bad bloom going on .... ill pull umm out though probably sat or so he should be just about done then
