i bought a black brittle star and a cleaner shrimp not to long ago and the brittle had a couple of chances to make a meal out of the shrimp cause the shrimp went to see him under his rock a few times since i got them both... but nothing happend.... im not saying that the star will not eat the shrimp but mine didnt plus its probebly not as big as your birdlady.

    Marc.

Is there a possability that these shimp may be molting? They tend to hide for a while while their new shell hardens.

Also want to point out that skunks, fire, peppermints and coral banded shrimp are all cleaners :)

Thanks for the clarification AC. Yes cleaners are a classification within the ornamental title.
