Try submerging the pump further, If mine gets to the point where its 2.5 inches under water it pumps micro bubbles like crazy, I keep mine about 5 inches deep and works great.

Return Section is adequate size I would say.

I read on here of someone fixing bubble problem by gearing Down return pump?????

Can you see bubbles in any of the sections of your clear tubing? The only thing I can think of if you aren't getting bubbles from the pump or somewhere in your line is this. The baffles for your bubble trap seem kind of far apart. With the return and over flow running wide open, it may be allowing so much flow through the bubble trap that it might be pushing the bubbles through it instead of trapping them. I'm not much of an expert so I might be completely wrong, but with mine, the water level isn't that high over my baffles and the flow is fairly "slow".

It looks as though you have both the over flow and the skimmer feeding into a filter sock? This should eliminate any bubbles from those areas. Make sure the water flows through the filter sock not over the top. Other than that I would re check the seals on your return lines. Also I would try slowing the return.too see if that helps
