    only things I cheap out on are:

    Mag = epsom salt
    PH/DKH Buffer = Make my own A&H Baking Soda and Soda Ash.
    Kalkwasser (Calcium/Alk) = Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime

    everything else, I buy.

    I have been using Tropic Marin Bio Magnesium to keep my Mg levels in check with good success. I find it really easy to dose, I just add a measuring spoon full for every 30 gallons and that increases my Mg levels by about 5 ppm. Natural seawater is around 1280-1300 ppm so I check my levels once or twice a week and try to maintain them around that
