MG Dosing Help

I just bought Kent Marine Tech M, I was wondering how I would dose it?
It's a 55 Gallon with a 20L sump, Total Water volume is like 60 US Gallons.
MG is 1120 it's low so I want to dose it the right way

 

just pour the correct amount into your sump. i usually add it to my top off water and it goes into the sump. just check the amount you can dose at a time.

 

Important: Shake vigorously immediately prior to use! The preferred method is to test the magnesium level in your aquarium, then add Tech M at the rate of 1 ml per gallon aquarium capacity per day to bring the level to between 1250 and 1350 ppm. This will raise the level by 18.4 ppm per day. As a routine supplement, if not testing, add two teaspoons (2 capfuls or 10 ml) per 50 gallons tank capacity every week in all marine systems.

Math is not my forte so if this is wrong, blame the Long Island public school system

You want to raise your mag approximately 130 ppm, right? If so, then you would need to dose 60ml of product every day for approximately 7 days.

 

just follow those instructions and youre good to go.

 

im not gonna check your math, so yea what she said. lol.

but that should get you to the low end of the scale , couple extra days and you wil lget it closer to high part.

 

Should I dose the 1ml per gallon of water or the 2tsp's?

 

The 2 tsp instruction is for maintenance of your mag level only, not to raise it so you would want to dose the 1ml per gallon. I would REALLY like it if you waited for somebody to confirm my numbers though
