When will the MF skimmers become available? Also, how much would a skimmer rated for a 200gal tank cost? Can you tell us something about the pumps you will be using.

    Hello,

We will be shipping them later this month. Depending on the load of the system you could use an MF161 or an MF201.

The MF161 is rated to MAX 320g and the MF201 to MAX 500g. Theses numbers are for very light load systems. I like the MF161 on a heavy load 140 reef and the MF201 a 200 reef. They will retail at 350/450.

The pumps are Italian made EDEN pumps and we've found them to be quiet and extremely efficient. We've seen and used a great number of pumps and these are top notch.

Well that canceled my 500 gallon build suggestion.

the MF121 is an amazing compact performer. It has a 6" x 6" footprint (6" x 7" with the venturi in place), consumes 12w and flows up to 700 lph of air and retails at $289. The MF121 is a great choice for aquariums up to about 90g.

I'm thinking of a mf 201 for a 110 gallon total system 75 dt and 35 sump/fuge. Heavy load and heavily fed. Overkill?

A lil overkill... but if you really are that heavily stocked it's probably the right choice.
