    The Blobfish, once rarely seen, are frowning these days as bottom-trawling by Australian fisherman are pulling them up from the depths with increased frequency. Blobfish, Psychrolutes marcidus, live at depths of up to 1200 meters and float across the bottom with a density slightly less than water swallowing whatever they can. Hopefully our appetite for lobster and crab will not lead to the demise of the blobfish as they seem to have hard as it is.
