About $600 per unit for the 170W directly from the supplier in Hong Kong.

I just received my G2 230W last Friday. It is well built with solid features for 1/3 the price of what you would pay for units made and sold in US. I know I can't DIY a comparable unit for the price. The 230W is brighter than 542W of MH and T5 combined. I have a 92g corner tank and it covers my tank pretty well. The back corner is a little dark but I tilted the light toward the back and that works out great. It is too early to tell how my corals will adjust to the light. So far so good.

the g2 is an old generation go for the g2 extreme. It uses 4 15w multichips instead of the 2 30w ones in the reg g2. Since the mazarra just came out the g2 extreme dropped in price. The 30 w chips in the g2's are ugly, the four 15w make a much better look. But still the AI sols outperform them and are cheaper. And you can buy different optics kits for maxspect and play around

The g3 is the mazarra, g3 was the code name for it while it was in production. Actual model name is Mazarra.
