Had my Maxima for a week and am really enjoying it! I swear it has more shades of blue than it did when I bought it? Here's a pic hope you enjoy!;D

Looks very nice. I would suggest putting it on a rock though. Maximas are rock boring clams. Croceas do well in sand beds, but maximas need a rock to live on.
What type of lighting do you have it under?

Croceas are rock borers too. I think you may have meant squamosas or derasas, both of which do great on the sandbed.

    Gorgeous maxima, by the way.

I keep my maximas and croceas in the sand so I would say not definative on the rock thing. But nice clam congrads.

I am now reading contrary opinions of which are rock boring clams, lol. Heck, if it's happy, just let it be I guess. :)

Lovely :) I've been looking for one just like that. May I ask where you found yours?
