Maxima maxing out my nerves!

    This beautiful 2" baby Maxima is driving me nuts.
    Ive moved him twice now and each time he keeps falling off the rocks because hes not attached.Both my other clams attached immediately but not this guy.
    Ive got him on the top of the rocks because hes a maxima in a relatively flat area.I tried putting an epoxy "gaurd" below him to stop him from falling but he still falls.
    Is there any way I can get him to attach?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    If you have sufficient lighting, I would place him on a flat surface in the sand bed and allow him to attach and then gradually move him up over a couple weeks.

    I would not try to place the clam back up in the rock work, until it attaches. Perhaps the flow is too strong, inverts are knocking it off any number of reasons.

    Baby clams stress me out too, hence the reason I do not get them.
